Your first orthodontic visit will consist of an examination and discussion of potential treatment options. During this visit, we usually take a panoramic x-ray to ensure proper root development and tooth eruption.
Both the examination and x-ray are free of charge.
The doctor will estimate the length of treatment and explain the benefits of braces. In addition, your insurance coverage and the cost of treatment will be thoroughly discussed at this initial visit.
During this initial consultation, it will be determined if treatment is indicated. If treatment is required, full diagnostic records are necessary to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient.

The appointment to place your braces usually takes from one to two hours.
