Meet Dr. Leah Stetzel

Dr. Leah Stetzel was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She then went on to attend Indiana University's School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Leah completed her specialty training in orthodontics and earned her master’s degree from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Leah grew up around dentistry- her grandfather, father, and sister are all dentists. Inspired by her family, she hopes to be able to give back to her community in a meaningful way. Dr. Leah enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is excited to start this next chapter and enjoy all that Tucson has to offer!

Get to Know Dr. Leah

Dr. Leah Stetzel, why did you decide to become an orthodontist?

Of course, my initial interest in dentistry came from my grandfather, father, and sister, but orthodontics was especially exciting to me because it is totally transformative. I love being able to see my patients on a regular basis, really get to know them, and be there with them for the reveal of their new smile. Nothing brings me more joy than watching someone’s confidence grow throughout and after treatment. A smile is one of the first things you notice about a person, and I feel absolutely honored to be able to give people a smile they feel proud of.
