Meet the doctors who started it all: Dr. Leber's and Dr. Don's fathers, Dr. Larry Leber and Dr. Michael Don.
Dr. Larry Leber was born in Kansas and moved to Tucson when he was 11 years old. He earned his dental degree from Baylor University in Dallas, TX and received his orthodontic training at Saint Louis University in 1972.
After completing orthodontic school, Dr. Larry Leber entered the Air Force and spent 3 years in Greece. He then returned to Tucson and began his practice in 1975. He has 4 wonderful sons and has been married for over 35 years to his lovely wife, DeDe! While he enjoys playing golf and hunting, his favorite pastime is spending time with his family.
Michael Don was born in San Francisco, CA while his father, Anthony P. Don, attended dental school at the College of Physicians and Surgeons (later named University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry).
When Michael was an infant, the family moved to Tucson, where his father began his dental practice in 1955.
Michael attended Amphitheater High School and the University of Arizona. In 1978, he graduated with high honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, with induction into the Tau Kappa Omega and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Societies.
Dr. Michael joined his father’s general dentistry practice after completing a General Practice Residency in dentistry at Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA. After eight years of practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Michael moved his wife, Sandy and their children, Lindsay and Kristin, to San Francisco where he completed his Masters in Orthodontics at University of the Pacific. Upon graduation in 1988, Dr. Michael and his family returned to Tucson to establish an orthodontic practice.
